The money I would pay to get to be on bridge of one that is driven onto the beach at speed....

Being a boilermaker and using a oxy set on a regular basis, i have complete respect for those guys, its shockingly bad cutting through marine paint/rust/oils/greases and the fumes coming off would choke anyone to death in no time. What you dont see is the dragging of oxy bottles ( which weigh a fuckload) on the beaches, skull dragging massive sections along the beaches.

All for $3 a day, that wouldnt even cover my smoko...

Copper is allowed to do it. Has to be a traffic copper with amount of experience and have to be able to back up their estimations.. I have seen magistrates take them out of court and get them to estimate the speed of passing cars and I have watched a guy do it within 3 kph every time. They are deemed expert witnesses for the court..

Copper seemed like a bit of a douche but is entitled to do what he did.

Thats why a traffic cop will give evidence something along the lines of. I noticed the vehicle travelling in excess of the posted speed limit I estimated his speed to be 72kph when check by police issue lidar the speed was checked at 71kph..

You can of course fight it with time over distance and things like that but the copper can still give you a ticket.

Wouldn't his integrity go out the window when he says that radar and lidar are not accurate either?
