    painting/power coating rims

i Have done some searching on the site and had no luck i have also called a few rim and painting/powder coating places with no luck as well, all im after is someone that can paint my WORK rims black with keeping the dish polished the rims are currently chrome.

I know there has to be some places out there that can do it any help very appreciated thanks.

Don't know if they do powdercoating, but pretty sure they do painting.

Are they one or two/three piece wheels?

Dependent on that, you can disassemble them, have the centres sandblasted which will prep the surface and make it suitable for painting as the chrome would be an issue otherwise. If they're one piece you'll need some heavy duty gaffer tape to place over any chrome pits so the centre section you want painted can be plasted then painted.

As 'X' said, R & L powdercoaters in Osborne park can do the blasting and painting in-house. They'll powdercoat or 2pak.

Yeah I’m not too sure if they are 2 piece as I was also wondering that as then I could powder coat them at any place is there anyway to find out they are WORK VS-SD? I gave r and l powder coaters a call and he said that with keeping the chrome lip it would be hard to powder coat instead he referred me on to Wheelgleam to get them just painted black but he also said that they have allot of work right now, alliance rim repair also have to much work and aren’t taking anything on for another four weeks, been calling around like mad, just keep trying.

One of the members on Perth-WRX works there - nickname is subistylin or something along those lines. I have seen their work, not bad at all. Will be taking my stockers there eventually

Benson, you can do mine whenever you're free I'll ring you next week.

I'm thinking satin or matte black, but I'll do the usual trick of leaving the colour up to you.
