I'm not a crazy loon about it but I believe in God or a higher being. I also believe in evolution and most of the scientific theories. The whole thing is mind bogglingly crazy and just thinking about the size of the universe let alone how it came to be can give me a headache sometimes.

Dont get me wrong there is some shit out there that can not be explained at this stage, other plains of existence and dimensions and the like, ive had my fair share of strange shit in my life that i can't explain fully, but to trying to tell people from a book that was written by a bunch of people that a dude just wished us all into existence is a little hard to believe. The problem with any religion is you just have to take on face value that the person that wrote the book or tells you stuff knows what there talking about with out any proof? at least with science you can write a book about it and say "this is why" and have solid proof and evidence to back it up.

For god sake (which ever you believe in) nobody bring this up at the BBQ i want to look at titties not talk about the origins of the universe although it might make for some interesting dribble after copious amounts of drink and food!!

That makes the error of implying there was nothing before the Big Bang. No one says that, they say they don't know what was there beforehand. In science it's ok to say you don't know the answer to something, which is a long way better than giving in and just saying that it's what God wanted.
