Good work man, this can definitely go so much further, give em so much hell they'll think twice before chucking together a half arsed botch job of an article defaming what on a whole is a stand up public company/car club that in no way advocates reckless/dangerous driving practices on public roads. Just because a car is sporting an Antilag sticker doesn't necessarily make it a member of Antilag Car Club, or the cruise it is on an official Antilag organised event.

Well that goes to show cops are busy giving fines/summons to easy targets, people that have address to send letters, have money and will pay and are generally good citizens. Instead of finding the hard criminals like burglars, people who committed assault, meth dealers that are dangerous to interact with.

The Media just scare monger hoons cos there is nothing else on TV to talk about. Cos in countries like South Africa the news shows civil unrest and wars going on and also in neighboring countries and economies failing. Here its which laundry powder cleans your clothes best, is best value for money and which companies are trying to rip you off, come into your house, steal all the money from your wallet, molest your children and kick your dog on their way out

6 posts and i`ve never seen you on a crusie.

the term "us" is half the problem. With an open forum and a large user base. anyone can log on, make a handful of pointless posts, go out and drive like a knob end and tarnish this forum.

Not saying you have driven like a cock, or that i am any more of a member than you, just pointing out an observation.

suggesting the vehicles confiscated and those that recieved yellow stickers were members of antilag is more then a slap in the face... imagine what other clubs think of antilag as a club now.

I too was a little more than annoyed when I saw the story last week. I spoke to David Cooper on Thursday, I told him I thought the story was a little one sided, he did say that he had tried to contact "Paul from Antilag" and left a message, said he would have liked the other side of the story.

I mentioned to him that a lot of the time the police are a little over the top when they show up, having experienced it first hand myself. He was still interested in talking to a few people. The only risk there is when the media do put the story together it can be totally out of context.
